OCC2010 to OCC Link Broken

Hi,

On the IPUMS USA website at the bottom, it reads:

Crosswalks for OCC1950 , OCC1990 or OCC2010 to the contemporary OCC codes and for IND1950 or IND1990 to the contemporary IND codes are available here

However, the hyperlink associated with “here” (https://usa.ipums.org/usa/vols_4_5_index.shtml) seems to be broken. Is it possible to access this document elsewhere?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will update the page to address the broken link. In the meantime, you may be interested in a recent blog post on how you could create these crosswalks on your own, this page on Integrated Occupation and Industry codes, or this BLS working paper on 1960-2000 Census occupations.

This link is still broken; my best recommendation is still to replicate the process outlined in this blog post on creating your own occupation/industry crosswalk.
