I’m looking for the crosswalks between OCC1990 and IND1990 and their respective contemporary codes (specifically, OCC and IND in 1980 and 1970). They are referenced at the bottom of this IPUMS USA page, but, unfortunately, the link is dead. Can those crosswalks be made available again?
IPUMS does not have a crosswalk file for these variables. We are looking into the broken link; however, you can create these crosswalks on your own using the procedure described in this blog post.
