Extract processing

Hi,
I submitted my extract over an hour ago. Is there a problem with the process? Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or is it the size of my extract that’s the problem?

While large extracts do take longer, it appears that we are simply experiencing a very high demand at the moment. IPUMS USA is only able to process about 20 concurrent data extracts. Today has been unusually busy, but should hopefully clear up in the next few hours. If your extract has not completed by the end of the day, please send us an email at ipums@umn.edu so that we can get everything sorted out.
