Classroom accounts service can only be used with IPUMS International?

The classroom accounts service is listed on the IPUMS International webpage <https://international.ipums.org/international/classroom\_accounts.shtml\>.

But every MPC Project login page says that “the Minnesota Population Center uses a common user management system for several data projects: IPUMS-USA, IPUMS-International, CPS, IHIS, and NAPP.”

So can I use this service if I am teaching a class that will only use IPUMS-USA data?

While those projects share a common user management system, user permissions and functionality are specific to some projects at this point. For example, access to IPUMS-USA does not give one access to IPUMS-International data, and classroom accounts are only available for IPUMS-International access. Thus, students in your class will have to register for IPUMS-USA access as regular users.
