2019 PUMS with Experimental Weights!

What a nice surprise!!! The Census Bureau, today, announced a new product:

2019 ACS 1-year Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) Experimental Weights

This will allow analysts to produce side-by-side, and comparable estimates to the currently available 2020 1-year PUMS-Experimental.

Data will be released on the Census Bureau’s FTP site on Thursday, June 9, 2022.

I will eagerly await the 2019-Experimental data on IPUMS in the following, hours, days, weeks, months!

As per the U.S. Census Bureau Weekly Digest Bulletin, these may be released as early as this week. The IPUMS USA team will prioritize making these data available, though I don’t have a definitive timeline.
