Why is 1910 veteran status not in full count data?

Why is the 1910 veteran status (Civil War) not in full count 1910 census? Is there any way to get this data?

Thank you for bringing to our attention that VETCIVWAR is not available for the 1910 full count. I have passed on this information to the IPUMS USA team, who will work to add the 1910 full count to this variable as soon as they are able.

Unfortunately, I do not have a timeline that I can share with you at this point. At the earliest, it would be several months before the change is implemented and becomes available.
