Hi, I use the ACS in an intro Pop classroom, and am updating my Spring assignment sheets. I would love for my students to utilize the 2024 ACS, but it’s not yet in the “Analyze data online” - when will that happen? This is a gateway class, so no programming skills are required. And I would like to be able to use the most recent data so the assignment is different (very slightly!) from last year’s data exercise. Help?
The IPUMS USA team just released the 2024 ACS data on 12/18/25. ACS data releases are always included in the online analysis tool, so the data will be available for your students to use!

The 2024 5-year public use microdata sample (PUMS) has not yet been released by the Census Bureau. It is scheduled to be released on March 5, 2026. IPUMS will work quickly to harmonize, integrate and release the 2024 5-year data once they become available. Please check our revision history page and your email for an announcement when we release the 5-year data.
