I am doing a migration study over the 2008-2017 period. Therefore, I would like to use CPUMA0010 as geographic unit. However, I am not sure how CPUMA0010 relates to the MIGPUMAs, which I need for the migration part. I have only found crosswalks between PUMAs and CPUMA0010 as well as between 2000 and 2010 MIGPUMAs. Is there any crosswalk or further information available on how CPUMA0010 relates to MIGPUMAs? How can I link the two?

Unfortunately, we do not have a ready-made crosswalk specifically identifying the relationship between CPUMA0010 and MIGPUMA1 codes. With that being said, we do have the components available for you to construct such a crosswalk. This page includes a crosswalk that describes the relationship between MIGPUMA1 codes and the 2010 PUMA codes. Next, this page includes a crosswalk that describes the relationship between 2010 PUMA codes and the CPUMA0010 codes. Combining the information on these two pages should provide the information you are looking for.
