Hello! I am currently writing my master’s thesis using the PMA for Burkina Faso 2020-21 and am trying to find a solution to generate a couple of relevant community-level variables for which I would need geographic data of smaller administrative units (sub-regional level). Apparently one can apply to gain access to the GPS coordinates when providing a thorough research description. Could someone tell me where I can apply for this data? I am of course more than happy to explain my research.

IPUMS PMA may not directly disseminate the GPS coordinates for the original PMA data. This PMA data description page states " The displaced GPS data may be made available on a case-by-case basis upon direct request to the Principal Investigator (PI)." PMA recently transferred dissemination of the original data files to the Johns Hopkins Research Data Repository, though I didn’t see the GPS coordinate data there when I searched. My best suggestions are to email info@pmadata.org or contact the Johns Hopkins archive. I am sure you were hoping for a more definitive response, but I hope this helps you connect with others who have more information about these data.
