GPS coordinates for DHS data?

Hi there,

For DHS data, can we possibly get geoinformation at a lower level than region, like GPS coordinates? In the data selection page, I was scrutinizing through Topics → Geography, but the lowest level I could get to was region.

I know we can get this information from the DHS program, but it will be convenient if it’s available on IPUMS too.

You are correct that the GPS coordinate data are not available through IPUMS DHS and that you will need to access these directly from the DHS program as there is an additional requirement for requesting these data.
