I am trying to attach the labels for occupation codes while analyzing data online. I have selected the 2019 file for the total US and have selected occ for the row. I have looked everywhere so apologies if this is apparent and I have missed it. Thanks so much
IPUMS does not attach labels to the unharmonized OCC variable, so there is no way to append them via the SDA tool. I am linking to the page that lists the 2018-forward ACS OCC codes; you can cross-reference your SDA output with this list. The harmonized occupation variables (e.g., OCC2010) will include labels in the SDA tool.
