What shape file should i use?

I am using 5-year estimates (2018-2022) data for my study. Which year’s shapefile should I use to obtain my FIPS code after geocoding the addresses?

NHGIS shapefile years correspond to survey release years. The 2018-2022 5-year estimates were part of the 2022 ACS Data Release, so they correspond to boundaries in the 2022 NHGIS shapefiles.
