The IPUMS CPS team released the harmonized September 2025 CPS Basic Monthly Survey data this morning (see the revision history page). This followed the delayed release by the Census Bureau of the public use file on Friday, November 21st.
The Census Bureau has provided a revised schedule that notes, among other things, that household survey data were not collected for the October CPS and will not be collected retroactively. The Census Bureau also expects that extra processing time will be needed for the November CPS.
