I was wondering how long the lag is on data from the month before for the IPUMS CPS, and if it is always released on a specific day. Specifically, I’m wondering when the June 2020 data will be released on the IPUMS CPS website.

IPUMS CPS works to release new basic monthly microdata as quickly as possible. While the delay may be up to a few weeks under normal circumstances, we are working to make the data available more quickly given the intense interest in these data during the COVID-19 pandemic. We released the April and May data via IPUMS CPS within one day of the Census Bureau’s release.
