Have the original pseudo-strata and cluster variables (“GEPSEUCL” & “GEPSEUST” in the original ATUS; see www.bls.gov/tus/ atus cpscodebk10.pdf ) been incorporated in ATUS-X ? These variables are necessary for computing correct means and standard erros in non-simple random surveys. However I cannot find them in the system.
The ATUS-X psudo-strata and cluster variables are currently being created and integrated into the ATUS-X database. The ATUS-X team expects to release the variables by the end of 2014.
