I have tried everything to load data in stata 10. I keep getting “not stata format” r(610). I have updated my stata with ssc install use13 yet the problem persists. Any ideas please?
Formatted Stata files produced by the extract engine are in Stata 14 format, so the use13 command will not work. Furthermore, it sounds like you may be trying to directly load in a .dta formatted file. I would recommend using the .dat version of the data and the provided .do file.
