I’m trying to access Occ2010 data for AESEC samples using IPUMS’ online data analysis tool, but I’m not given that option (only occ, occ1990, and occ1950 are available). Occ2010 is there if I extract the unweighted data, and it’s also present for the census version of the online data analysis tool. Am I missing something? thanks so much
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I reported this to the IPUMS CPS team, and they have added it to the list of variables to include in the ASEC samples for the online analysis tool. This update will be implemented the next time the ASEC samples are generated for the online analysis tool, which will likely be in the next several months. As you noted, OCC2010 is currently available for download using the data extract system. I understand that this may not be the answer you were hoping for.
