Is there any complete method for merging monthly CPS data?

Hi Joe,

This is Cassie from Arizona State University. I have a question about how to merge household and person level monthly CPS data. Basically, I want to get the trend or change of unemployment status and income information both on household level and individual level from 2004 Jan till now.

I wonder if there is complete method for me to follow to merge this data.

I believe the CPSID and CPSIDP variables and their accompanying article are what you are looking for.
