The variable CPUMA0010 is not available for the 2000 5% sample in the “Analyze Data Online” interface. The technical documentation at https://usa.ipums.org/usa-action/variables/group?id=h-geog says that the variable should be there.

You are not missing anything. The the online analysis tool often carries a limited number of the available variables in any given sample. I can pass along your interest for this variable to be available in the online analysis tool, but it may be a little bit of time before it is finally available. In the meantime CPUMS0010 is available in the 2000 5% sample in the IPUMS data extract system.
