If you are using the IPUMS Online Data Analysis System, near the bottom of the page are Multi-Sample Datasets which allow you to access all of the available years for each country. Simply include the variable MARST in the “Row:” box and YEAR in the “Column:” box and you will get a frequency of marital status by year.

If you are downloading the datasets, you can download multiple years in a single extract. You can then perform a frequency of MARST and YEAR similar to the Online Data Analysis System procedure above.
