Hi there, I’m new here and trying to replicate data from a research paper I am critiquing. I am trying to extract data on Mexican immigrants in the US ,in 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000 however I cannot seem to figure out how to work this site. Need help as soon as possible! Would be much appreciated

Second, I’m not sure exactly how the paper you are replicating defines Mexican immigrants, but you might find many useful variables under the Race, Ethnicity, and Nativity variables tab. Specifically, the BPL variable can tell you if the individual was born in Mexico. I hope this is helpful.
