Is there any timeline for adding the ability to download data at the household, rather than the person level?

This functionality is on our radar, but not currently in the list of prioritized updates to the API. You can review the feature availability of the IPUMS API for IPUMS USA (and IPUMS CPS) for more information on which features are currently supported. I have shared your interest in this functionality with the IPUMS API group.
