Hello! I’ve attempted several data extraction for ACS data from 2009-2018, but the files only contain data for 2009-2011. Any idea what might be going on, or is there a good fix?
I think this is an issue with the specific extract you are requesting. My best guess is that you are using “select cases”, and the codes you are selecting are not available from 2012 onward. This is most commonly the case with geographic variables (especially metro areas), which have changes in coding schemes every few years. When this happens, no cases are selected from the year that doesn’t have the code, so no cases from that year will be included in your extract.
