I am looking for the crosswalk between ACS’ degfield codes and the ISCED (International Standard Classification of Education) codes. Does such concordance file exist? Or should I construct one through indirect routes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am not aware of any such crosswalk. However, you may find the crosswalk between DEGFIELD and HHES/CIP/NSF codes that Matt Bombyk shared in this forum post helpful. The only crosswalk between CIP and ISCED codes that I was able to find was one from this 1993 Department of Education report, but you might have more luck tracking down a more recent version.
