Hi all, is that possible to cancel a Microdata request? I am not going to use the data I requested the access for, but every time I log in, the only thing that appears is the request formulary for that specific data.

You cannot cancel or delete an extract once it has been submitted. However, you can hide it so that it doesn’t appear in your list of extracts. See the screenshot below.
Thanks for the answer. I tried to find the option you suggested. Still, I can’t even pass the “APPLICATION TO USE RESTRICTED MICRODATA” formulary screen. The only option I see is the button submit, but I suppose this implies to request the microdata, which is something I don’t want. I don’t know if my only option is to submit the request to then do what you suggested to me.
It sounds to me like you have not yet registered for IPUMS International. If that is the case, then any extract that you attempted to submit will not be processed. If you do not want to register, you don’t need to do anything else to cancel your extract request.
