about INCTOT (total personal income)

Is INCTOT (total personal income) the sum of all different kinds of other (sub) income variables, including INCWAGE (wage and salary income), INCBUSFM (Business and farm income), INCBUS (Non-farm business income), etc? If so, could you please tell me what specific variables were included in the sum?

INCTOT represents all other forms of income including earned (e.g. INCWAGE, INCBUS, and INCFARM) and unearned (all other sources of income). Lists of the individual components of INCTOT are available on the Comparability Tab as these components have changed overtime.
