Hello, does anyone know if the design of the person weight (PERWT) variable in census sample datasets (e.g., 1990 census 5pct state sample) incorporated the place of birth information of the sample?
I am hoping to generate state population counts by migration status (e.g., stayers for whom state of birth and residence are the same, internal migrants and international migrants) and wondering if the samples are representative of the populations of different migration status.
