Struggling to understand the ipums data and how to use it to create a machine learning model that can show patterns. Has anyone done anything similar?
While I can’t recall any examples off the top of my head, you can look for research using machine learning on the IPUMS bibliography database. The Methodology and Data Collection topic may provide the most relevant results.
