I am new to IPUMS and I am looking for the variables PEERNPER and PEERNRT, but I do not see them as options to select. They are in the data dictionary for the basic monthly CPS, but I don’t see them here.

The variable names in the original CPS microdata (which is where the variables you mentioned are located) are usually not the same as in the IPUMS CPS data. IPUMS harmonization prioritizes comparability across time, so the ways variables are defined may differ slightly. I believe the information you are looking for (an indicator for hourly paid workers) is available in IPUMS CPS in the variable PAIDHOUR.
