Can you confirm that the case counts per value provided in the case count view for a given variable are the real case counts available in the data and not inflated weighted counts ?

The case counts shown for any IPUMS variable on the codes and frequencies tab of a variable description are UNWEIGHTED counts. Your assumption is correct.
