You do not have the census data for 1980 for Mexico. Am I correct in thinking that this microdata doesn’t exist? Thanks!
IPUMS International does not provide access to the 1980 Mexican census. Additionally, you are correct about the availability of the microdata from the 1980 Mexican census in general. As this document notes, “The devastating 1985 earthquake destroyed much of the infrastructure of the National Statistical Office in Mexico City, including all extant copies of the 1980 census microdata.”
