The Voting and Registration Supplement for the Current Population Survey has been conducted every two years starting in 1964. You can download the microdata from IPUMS CPS using these steps: From the IPUMS CPS main page, follow the link to “browse and select data.” Then click on “Change Samples.” Choose the “Supplement Topics” tab and the “Voter” sub-tab. Then select the years you are interested in and click “submit sample selections.” Then choose what variables you want under “select variables.” To download the extract choose “View Cart.”
