I get a nmber of CPS microdata records in my extract with CPSID 0. Why is that?

As noted on the Description Tab for the CPSIDP variable respondents who are part of the ASEC oversample (as indicated by ASECOVERP) have a CPSIDP value of 0. Therefore, the individuals you are observing with CPSIDP==0 are part of the ASEC oversample and therefore cannot be linked to the March basic sample.
