I have trouble interpreting the following regression result. I regress BMI of children on whether they were born in a polygamous household or not
IPUMS does not provide assistance on analytical questions that do not directly relate to variable or other IPUMS documentation. However, this annotated stata output might be helpful. HWBMIZWHO reports the difference between the child’s BMI and the median BMI of a reference population of the same age and sex, expressed in 100 times the standard deviation. The codes tab for the variable notes that observations coded between 9995-9999 indicate various cases where the actual BMI was not recorded and should be excluded from your analysis.
