I was wondering if you could answer my question if IPUMS creates datasets for a fee?
We don’t create data sets for a fee. However, we definitely take user feedback into consideration and if a suggested variable would be useful to a large group of researchers we would certainly consider it. In your case, we are currently working on making the RACESING variable available for the 2015 and 2016 ACS samples.
