We decided this was the best variable to make estimates of livable wage employment by race. The users guide does not show this as available even though the 2013 ACS has been added to IPUMS. I would like to know if you will keep creating this.
IPUMS-USA is currently in the process of improving the RACESING generation procedure, which has delayed the release of the 2013 ACS RACESING variable. However, the improvements are nearly complete and the IPUMS-USA Team anticipates making the new data available by the end of Spring.
