Crosswalk between puma and sea

Hi,

Is there any crosswalk file between CONSPUMA and SEA?

I understand that CONSPUMA is consistent for 1970-onwards, and SEA is pre-1950.

Should I use counties-SEA crosswalk file and counties-countygroup and connect to PUMA or is there a more straightforward way?

Unfortunately, I am unaware of a crosswalk between CONSPUMA and SEA. You are correct that the best method is to link from SEA to county to county group to CONSPUMA, using the available crosswalks. Keep in mind that shifts in the official county boundaries between the sample years using SEA and the sample years using CONSPUMA could affect the comparability of these two variables.
