I’m looking for a crosswalk between the PUMA variables and counties for the 5 year sample for 2020, 2015, 2011, 2006 and the 1 year samples for 2002–2004. Could someone recommend the best source?

For PUMA to county crosswalks, I would recommend the Missouri Census Data Center’s Geocorr.To my knowledge, IPUMS doesn’t have these. I will, however, share a bit of information about PUMA definitions that may be helpful.
Based on the years you have listed, there are only two sets of PUMAs involved: 2000 definitions and 2010 definitions (with the exception of a few PUMAs near New Orleans that were merged after Hurricane Katrina). There are no PUMAs for the 1-year samples before 2005; the lowest level of geography in the microdata samples in these years is the state. The PUMAs changed from using the 2000 to the 2010 definitions in the 2012 1-year sample; the 5-year samples that include both 2011 and 2012 will report a mix of PUMAs using the 2000 definitions for observations prior to 2012, and 2010 definitions for the 2012-forward observations. You can see which year the data was collected using the variable MULTYEAR.
