Can you create new variables using "by var" in the online analysis system?

Hi,

I’m just wondering if, using the IPUMS online data analysis system, it’s possible to create new variables using the “by” syntax.

That is, if I wanted to create a variable that tracks health insurance unit income, I would want to be able to add up income for each health insurance unit (similar to stata’s syntax of “by hiuid: …”

Unfortunately, SDA does not presently include an expression for generating new variables aggregated “by” other variables using the Online Data Analysis system.
