I am working with Laos data that currently covers 1995, 2005, and 2015. Can we expect a 2025 update? If so, is there a timeline for this? Is early 2026 realistic?

Laos is currently fielding its 2025 census. IPUMS is continually in the process of acquiring, processing, and harmonizing new data to provide on our platform. We hope to be able to provide the 2025 Laos data via IPUMS International in the future. However, we cannot guarantee this or provide an estimated timeline. IPUMS acquired and released the three existing Laos samples together in 2019. I would suggest checking back in late 2026 to ask about data acquisition plans; we may have more information to share at that time.
