I am trying to obtain state-level labor force participation rates for different age groups by the using the CPS ASEC samples so that I can merge these data with other state-level variables provided by BLS for my analysis. I want to know if the CPS ASEC samples here are the same samples used by the BLS to generate the data that they provide to the public or if the data provided by IPUMS are smaller samples than those used by the BLS.
