I am interested in number of employees and number of establishments per industry by county (or at least state). I am able to find these day by industry and by county but not a cross-tabulation of the two.
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with available microdata on this topic. The IPUMS projects that provide access to microdata all do not have information on manufacturing.
