Access 1920 and 1930 complete count data?

Hi There,

I’m trying to replicate one paper and the author mentioned that he has access to 100% of 1920, 1930, and 1940 census information with names from MPC.

But from the web, I can only obtain the information on 1940 but basically find nothing on 1920 and 1930 full count census.

Do you have any idea where they obtain the data?

The full-count datasets for 1920, 1930, and 1940 are made available to a select number of researchers that apply for restricted access, which is likely how the authors of the paper accessed the data. If you wish to learn more about the application process, please contact ipumsres@umn.edu.
