I downloaded 1880 and 1910 data for city, age, race, and school. Only 1880 data is showing up and when I try to download 1910 on its own, it downloads blank.
The most common reason for missing data from an entire sample is that you restricted the sample based on the value of some variable (using the “select cases” option when submitting your extract), and those values are not available in that sample. In your case I suspect that CITY would be the issue, since the specific city codes available changes with each sample. To see which cities are available in which sample, visit the codes page for CITY.
