Stepmom and Stepdad missing in ACS 2015

I worked with 2015 ACS data in February 2017 that had STEPMOM and STEPDAD. In my most recent download, those variables are not available. Were they inadvertently omitted? Will they be added?

The variables STEPMOM and STEPPOP are currently being re-developed for samples 1970 and later. This is why you no longer see them in your 2015 ACS extract. Unfortunately, I do not have a timeline for when they will be re-released. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
