Hello! All values for FQWEIGHT are missing in all of my extracts. Does anyone know what could be happening?
I took a look at your most recent IPUMS PMA extract and do not see that FQWEIGHT is missing, though I do see 431 respondents with FQWEIGHT=0 that are unexpected as they are eligible female respondents aged 15-49. We do not normally expect female questionnaire respondents to have FQWEIGHT values of zero. Our IPUMS PMA team is looking into possible reasons for this and we will follow up with you when we have more information.

Our IPUMS PMA team looked into the cases where FQWEIGHT=0 across all IPUMS PMA samples. We see a total of 4,612 cases where female questionnaire respondents (RESULTFQ=1) have 0 values for FQWEIGHT. These unexpected zeros are present in the original data and not introduced by IPUMS, or explained by documentation we have access to. Our IPUMS PMA staff is going to follow up with PMA directly, and will follow up with you when we have more information.
