I have created a data extract for wages and employment in the Washington DC metropolitan area for the year 2018. It appears that the data for each household is only at the annual level. Is it possible to get data by month for a specified year?
Monthly income data are not available from IPUMS USA, though you can find some monthly measures through IPUMS CPS. Monthly employment and labor force variables are included as part of the Basic Monthly Survey; these variables are listed on the IPUMS CPS Core Variables page. There are a limited number of income variables fielded as part of the CPS Outgoing Rotation Group Earner Study, including weekly and hourly wages.
