Is it possible to have a "tab" or a "histogram" of the sample months regarding the ACS Survey?

Hi Jeff,

From one of your previous answers, I understand that it is plausible to assume a uniform distribution of the sample months across a year regarding the ACS Survey. I just wanted to check if it is possible that you could produce and share a “tab” or a “histogram” of the sample months. I want to include include this infirmation as an evidence of the uniform distribution in my analysis.

Many Thanks,

While it is plausible to assume a uniform distribution of enumeration months across a given sample year, it is not possible to verify this assumption by tabulating. This is because there is no variable that indicates the enumeration month in modern samples. This assumption, however, is supported by the details of the ACS sample design, outlined here. Basically, each month a systematic sample of the US population is drawn, so a uniform distribution across months is plausible.
