How time spent on smartphone is coded?

Hi IMPUS Time Use Researchers and Users

Does anyone know how time spent on smartphone is coded in the American Time Use Survey? I go through the list activity but there is no one for “smartphone usage”. Given people nowadays spent substantial amount of time on their phone, does anyone know if it is possible to calculate “time on smartphone” using the ATUS. Many thanks!!!
