Access to the 1970 state sample for North Carolina. How can I get access to the state sample. The only samples listed are Metro samples.
I think you are referring to the online analysis tool. At the present time the 1970 state samples are not available in the online analysis tool. This is due to limited space availability in this tool. The 1970 state samples (both form 1 and form 2) are available in the IPUMS data extract system, however. In order to select just one state (say only records from North Carolina), you can use the ‘Select Cases’ tool before submitting your extract.
